Time to plan my winter projects:
1. Updated hydraulics on MH44 2. R&R drive train components on MH44. 3. Convert MH44 EFI from single injector to port injection. 4. Upsize intake and cam on MH44. 5. Replace neutral start switch on Ford 6610. 6. Start restoration on JD130, hopefully ready for grand kids in 10 years, and hopefully grand kids then too. 7. Replace rear tires on Farmall H.
I am putting the ROPS projects on hold.
We got new haying equipment this year that is too big for the H, so goal with upgraded hyrdaulics is to use the MH44 next season to rake and ted. I can ted with the H, but it really works the snot out of it, putting in fire craters might make the difference. The bigger rake takes a lot of volume and pressure to lift the cylinders, it works the 4020 hydraulics, so no way the H will handle it.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
