My dad had a 950 2wd with a loader for approx 20 years. Ours had no p/s or live pto. It was a very dependable tracor, very good on fuel, needed tires loaded to be much good with the loader. It has a non syncro transission with a high /low range. In The low range, reverse and 1 and 2 were really low geared. P/s would be a big plus- ours steered hard in soft ground with the loader. Depending on the chores you have in mind , it should be a good little tractor.Even though itwas always stored inside we had to block the clutch down if it sat for more than a few days or it would stick to the flywheel. That was the only issue we ever had with it. They were made in late 1970s and early 1980s for JD by Yanmar.
