I do not believe a word of it. IF we are to deal with life outside of Earth, the Bible would have told us something about it. Earth is our home, and where we are to put our efforts and assets. I did and still will support Star Wars type defensive satellite technology to protect us (laser beams that can detect and kill nukes after launch etc) and if our space program can help develop this then okay. I tend to think we already have some of this in place, top secret of course. That is my 2 cents so far.
