Archery season begins today, October 1. Last weekend, Indiana had a youth only season. Have a neighbor that does not have permission to hunt the farm I hunt so they got permission to hunt the one across the fence from it. The last 3 years, they sit on the fence line and do not know which side of the fence they have permission to hunt. Good father teaching his son to respect the law. The land owner where I hunt as well as I have talked with the owner where they hunt and he keeps saying if they do hunt on the wrong farm, he will run them off. He also believes every lie the "hunters" tell him. I would maybe like to find a sure way to deter the deer from going to that side of the farm, other than driving the fence line constantly or something. About the only thing worse than this kind of "hunter" is the spotlight hunter. We also have our share of them.
