Don we see that on all makes of pickups usually is the emissions part of the fuel tanks causing it to come on. Repairs are costly and usually temporary. The dust from the gravel roads causes them to come on. Mine have been on for 10 years, causes no drivability problems. change mechanics As far as taking them to a parts place for diagnosis a lot of those guys hardly know how to hook up a scanner let alone do a proper diagnosis, most of the time that compares to going to a baby doctor for a heart problem in a 90 year old person.
