I was one of the first around here to have a real satellite dish (10 diameter) after a windstorm blew tree into my regular antenna and ruined it.Technology changed and everyone started to go to the small dish (2' or less). Program providers all left C band and went black a few years ago. Instead of converting to small dish and accepting never ending price increases, I got a new, better quality antenna on my still standing tower. Luckily we are located between 3 TV markets and receive broadcasts from them all (3 feeds per channel). A lot of people believe that cable or satellite is the way that has always been in use. These people don't realize that the letter "B" in all the network's call signs stand for BROADCAST. Everything is no charge.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
