Talk about ordering something and waiting for it to show up. I ordered from Cabela's last Friday. Normally things arrive in 3 or 4 working days. Well, when it was not here by yesterday, I got on live chat to see what weather it was shipped. Oh, yes, delivered on Tuesday noon. Whoa, nothing here. Contact post office, nope, get a tracking number. Well, got two, one from UPS and one for USPS. The package was delivered to a guy in Ohio with same name. I always lived, still do, in Minnesota. I had a problem ordering because I had some points built up over the years and wanted them applied to this purchase. Could not get the order correct on line so went on live chat and that proceeded to a phone call. The gal got my name and credit card number but must have just pulled his name out of the hat. I don't recall her asking me my shipping address, assumed she had it as I have ordered different items over the years. More to the story though. This guy in Ohio with the same name except middle initial does not pay his bills (of course, there could be another one there with same name also) and I have had collection agencies after me a few years ago for a student loan. Hey, I never had a student loan. Took two years to get several different collection agencies off my back. Get one off and who ever had hired them would just turn it over to a different collection agency. Then a couple months ago, I get a letter from an attorney in Ohio, wanting me to pay my real estate taxes in Ohio. Hope I straightened him out, h aven't heard. Still more. About 20 years ago, I got a package as a present. No name, no return address. It contained an IH 350 toy tractor on a truck. I questioned many , called the co. that was on order header and they claimed it was all paid for etc. I never took it out of the box for maybe ten years thinking someone would claim it or give me a clue. Now, I'm wondering, did I get his tractor and now he got my trail camera. They are sending me a new one and supposedly no extra charges and already charged to my account. I put some birthday money toward this as the kids always say to not just put it on living expense. Will see how this turns out.

Today's Featured Article - Listening to Your Tractor - by Curtis Von Fange. Years ago there was a TV show about a talking car. Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
