Yes, unless they are on a good hormonal therapy. It will cause menopause with the hot flashes and other health issues. My wife had a hysterectomy and has had lots of issues after. She wishes she had not had it done. Her original problem was endometriosis. My Mother had one as well and her sister too. I think it really effected them both mentally as well as physically. They are a much different person after their hysterectomies. I think some modern doctors are too quick to recommend a hysterectomy be done. It is NOT a simple change to most women's bodies. The side effects are physical and mental.
