Bill Gelbke out of Boscobel, Wi built a large , heavy motorcycle out of a ChevyII drive train- 151 inch engine the size of a IHC H, powerglide tranny, Chevy c20 rearend turned into something like a BMW rear drive over fed on steroids- this was early/mid 1970s? It was ridden to some rallies and bike shows, I saw it 6-7 years ago at a Northern Illinois swap meet. Last year in Boscobel during a Civil War battle re-enactment a guy had a Ford Flathead V8 with a 4 core Chevy radiator, Chrysler torque convertor with manual lockup and a Honda Goldwing rear drive and wheel- that was about 2/3 size of Gelbke's. Motorcycle equipment laws leave a wide margin for strange looking road machines. RN
