I am getting closer to having my E and it's grain table back together to run beans. My goal is to be together to run the weekend of the 17th, got a long way to go. Had to repair many cracks and things along the way, painting the frame work and the auger floor black to stop the rust. Have all new bearings for the auger. My left stub shaft bearing was gone this slop caused the left bracket that holds the pitman arm to break in half, to repair I chiseled off the rivets and removed it to weld the break. Hopefully I can get it all back up where it needs to be and refasten it. I am not sure if I will try to use rivets yet or just some sort of plow bolt. Any thoughts? On the combine itself we are replacing the upper and lower ends of the clean grain elevator as they were badly rusted. I am going tomorrow (Wednesday) to pick up my freshly rebuilt starter and generator. So far here is the progress as of Tuesday around 2pm.
