I really think it does some good. I have seen controled test done on T.V. and of course they ranked Slick 50 and some other brand ahead of Dura Lube. The reason I use it is in pulling you may need a little more protection than the oil can give because of cracked heads or cracked blocks that sometimes happens along with head gaskets. I have my engines apart at least once a year and everything looks good so far. Have been using it about 3 years. The wort thing is it is a little expensive.
