Bruce check out this tractor site....http://www.atis.net/ it has links to a bunch of other sites as well....THe serial number site is there as well...Your model was listed...down around page 4. Concerning more info....youcan order manuals for your tractor from this site...I purchased both the users and the maintnence manuals (Their reprints of original manuals) and they were well worth the investment (about $54 for both)....This site also has a buch of great articles on general repair....have fun....
