I had a Stihl, 031 it was junk. Nothing but trouble hard start, kept taking out the oil pump. HOWEVER. It was replaced with a 041 and it is/was great! I wore it out. I then got a 026. For it's size it is a real workhorse. Bought it in 1990 and it runs good as new. I wanted more hp again and local dealer had a refurbed 044. Just like the 026 only more HP. I also have acquired a 028 from my fatherinlaw. It's a good one to. Overall I'm extremely happy with all my Stihl saws.
