Hey Old, here's a hand drawn wiring diagram, taken off the can of worms that is the full diagram, that should be like, or enough like the PC200 your working on to help troubleshoot it. It's out of a PC200-3 manual, but they didn't usually change a lot of the stuff like this unless they added electronics and had to.
Best I can tell, the R post is actually a ground. It's hooked to the R post on the battery relay, as well as the alternator, and also hooks to the computer/monitor in two places. I'm assuming if the computer senses voltage on the line, rather than a ground, it then cuts the ground so the 'safety solenoid' won't pull in and put power to the starter solenoid.
Whatever is going on, this is how it should be wired, and more than likely what your dealing with. I hope everything comes through off Photobucket, if not email me and I'll be happy to send it to you directly.
