So what did I hear the first thing this morning? Sixty years with the wrong man! She was smiling when she said it but I am not so sure that she didn't mean it.
Do not ask me how a couple survives 60 years of marriage because I don't have a clue. I keep wondering where did the time go.
On our 55th I bought here a new tractor because she wanted to help with the farming and it sure was good for me because she still does all of those busy jobs that would take me away from the bigger work. For example she loads hay for customers while I am working land or trying to get the soybeans harvested.
No tractor this year though. I am thinking about a new replacement for her John Deere Gator or something similar. She has just about worn the old one out chasing me around the farm and running for tools or supplies when I am broke down a half mile from home.
