I now a days only can cut for an hour or 2:my back just don't let me do it for long any more.And those big pieces -I would not even try to lift,even tho I can.I would just roll them onto the splitter,and raise it up to a comfortable height to split,and load from there.But anyway,just pace yourself,keep moving to limber back up.Mark
