My far-less-than-expert opinion is: if it's truly in good condition (low hours, good engine, good tires, good metal, good paint, good tight steering, etc.) and it is capable of doing everything you ask it to do, then it is worth whatever you are willing to pay for it. It doesn't matter what its "consensus" value might be. Personally, I'd love to have a good one like it, and if I found one, I'd probably go as high as $4k. If I had deeper pockets I might even go higher. Everything's relative to circumstances.
