Well I must be going over the hill at a much faster pace then I thought; All summer long I waited for carrots - NOTHING SHOWED UP- NOW THIS!!!!!!==== Never tried small summer squash/ Wife fixed it So Sweet, So good, now I'm a fan. Go figures. Wood is all up and under the deck, dry as a bone, and the heat is on.Snowed last week, but didn't stay, hooray. Only thing let for my son to do is the 75 and 92 Ford plugs and plug wires on the 75, 92 check the fluids, brake lines and clean it up for winter driving, and deer hunting. Speaking of deer hunting, took my old license to Wally World for a new one, was told I might need a Dr's certificate stating I was handicapped. Not in my body, but just in my head, thats easy to do,anyway I have my handicap license not sure which feature he listed it under, Head, or Body.lol. I am sure a lot on here will list it as Head- number 1 , Body second, not sure myself.lol. Looking forward to deer hunting, and my wife is going to slice the carrots and dry them, some not all. Bake carrots, slaw, uses them for roast pork side dish, with onions. I guess the carrots are better late than never. Now I am not so apprehensive about winter,at least there is something to look forward to. Tomorrow it's wally World shopping, (canned goods basically) and meat at the other grocery store, (which is Marketplace) then again maybe not. $9.79 for a pound of beef, which I'll never buy. Chicken and pork is the only option. I'll bet the farmers aren't getting $9.79 per pound for beef. Anyway, looking forward to venison including our four legged pal, Jake, who is all muscle. Keep warm and safe, regards, LOU
P.S. There are two piles of carrots pictures, one is on the center isle, the second is on a blue, white striped towel. Son just picked them today.

The golden corn ripens well and early, the stoking, stacking,.... the drawing in with the tractors and trailers and a few buck rakes thrown in, and possibly a heavy horse. It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
