Hi Doug, I would assume that during the clutch replacement that the throw out and pilot bearing would have been replaced. Some later models of 485 and 495 had a throw out bearing that contacted the pressure plate fingers all the time. Check to see if your 485 has a clutch return spring that goes on the clutch pedal lever to up under the dash support. If it has a clutch return spring then it is the older style throw out bearing that doesn't contact the pressure plate fingers all the time. Which kind of transmission shifter does your 485 have, the old style 1 to 4 in "Z" pattern or the newer style "H" pattern? If it has the older "Z" style on the R/H/L lever when in Neutral position try lifting this lever slightly above the Neutral position and see if the noise disappears.
