I dont know about Sams as I have never been in one. I think of it as a membership WM (same owners)

I dont think that STUPID PEOPLE expect WM to pay employees more than mom & pop stores ( if you can find one ) but at least pay them the same. Your right they dont pay rocket scientist wages they pay just over min wage. Do you know anyone who works for WM or has worked for them? I have a good friend who's wife worked for WM and she just hated working for them, unfortunatly it was just about the only place in town that was hiring (imagine that they were hiring with the turn over they have its no wonder). To her it was nothing more than a J.O.B.(just over broke) If Safeway, BiMart, or Winco were hiring she would be paid about 25-30% more for the same job. The only ones that make good money are the ones in upper managment.

"NO local grocery store or hardware store will pay $60 an hour" you right and your crazy if you belive WallyWorld will pay that! They offer a better product at a better price? Bull pucky! Its getting hard to find anything in that place made in U.S.A. Acording to the ex-CEO of Wally World in a documentery that I saw last year he garentee you that you can find the same thing for less at another store. Its all marketing!

I sure would have loved to save $200 a week (800 a month) rasing my 5 kids but I never spent that kind of money per week to raise them. It would have been free then and that would have helped alot becuase we did have a big family and no money!

Just how I see it. No disrespect ment to anyone.

Today's Featured Article - Listening to Your Tractor - by Curtis Von Fange. Years ago there was a TV show about a talking car. Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo. ... [Read Article]
