Don't worry about it Jim. I've got no animosity toward you. I'm just somebody who remembers a trip to the dealer being a good experience and I refuse to be treated like dirt when there's an alternative. I don't want anybody thinking that every parts man at every Deere location is a jerk either. Each location has four or five parts guys, and it seems like two at every store are nice guys. Problem is,everybody knows they're the ones you want waiting on you,so they're always busy. So while you're standing there waiting, one of the other ones will say "I can help you" and it all goes down hill from there. They act like they're doing you a huge favor taking their own personal time out of their busy day to get you out the door as fast as they can. They're either sarcastic and treat you like you're an idiot,or have the personality of a pile of sawdust and won't even look up from the computer screen to listen when you try to tell them you know there's a serial number break,or that there are about three different options available. And I know it's not just me,I've heard the guy who finally drove me out of one location for good, talking on the phone to customers. One short conversation ended with "I don't know what you're talking about, you'll have to come in" and he hung up on the guy. It just baffles me as to why people like that still have a job where they can interact with the public. It's as if it was actually being encouraged.
