The U of Minnesota Extension has announced a series of workshops about "fair" farmland rental agreements. They come right out and say that farming rented ground is unprofitable now. Don't know what it will accomplish as landowners won't want to reduce rents much and farmers need the land base to justify their big equipment purchases. Like JD says, the real trouble will begin after the election. I wonder what our first woman president will do- will she be able to "blame" her predecessor? It will be interesting.
