The Impala handled well, seemed solidly built and was a nice looking vehicle too. I drove a 6 cylinder so it had good giddy-up-and-go.
It was "roomy" - but then compared to my little ol' tin can, any vehicle is roomy. I did not think the road noise was excessive as reported by some consumer reviews - but not quite as quiet as some other cars I drove.
However the seat was really uncomfortable...I wouldn't want to take a really long trip in it. It's too "long geared" for me and hits me at the back of the knee. I feel like I would almost need a cushion to sit on and put behind my back to make it "fit" better (and I don't like that idea). The seat was also really flat and no lumbar support built in.
And at 5 ft. tall... the darn headrest almost bends your head forward.
