Battery in riding mower only two years old. Had been starting but did notice it balked a little a couple times but engine fired easy so it took off. Next time, no crank. Jump started , checked charging voltage, above 14 volts. Mowed lawn couple hours, restarted a couple times ok. Next time, no crank again. About 12.6 or 7 no load voltage. Load test, would not even hold 10 amps. Removed battery, hooked up a test light and let it discharge battery down to nothing. Recharged, run it down again with light, recharged. Load tested good. Put back in mower, ran all summer no problem then same thing this fall. Ran it down again, recharge, load tested good with carbon pile tester. Never know for darn sure about batteries. Oh, also checked for drain when shut off. Using on my trail camera now and put that battery in mower.

I credit my parents for instilling a lot of good values, a respect for learning, a knowledge of various skills and a little knowledge of farming in me, amo
