: hi, I have a JD302-A loader-backhoe. I just burned out the clutch disc (bits and pieces came flying out). Tractor will not move anymore. Looking for any advice on what to do/not to do to replace this. I'm pretty good repairing machinery but have never had to "split" a tractor.. Thanks in advance. dave : I have never split a backhoe Dave, but have acouple of others. Smoooth concrete floor, good heavy rolling floor jacks, stands that bolt to the tractor, adjustable preferred, and a roll of masking tape to mark all the hoses and lines. All the backhoes I have seen are very heavy and you would not want one to get away from you. Saw my dad loose one once when I was a boy helping him. What a mess. Broken castings and bent lines not to mention all the oil all over. Good Luck
