My two cents. I have a 2015 825i gator two seater. Does everything I need and more. Looked at Polaris 900 ranger. They touted being 300 pounds lighter than the gator. I prefer the weight to me it's built heavier. I can't figure out where the extra 300 lbs are.
Neighbor has a 2012 825i 4 seater. Loves it too. Except he constantly complains it takes 40 acres to turned It around. Mine is much tighter turning.
Friend has a 15 mule pro-fxt 4 seater (6 seater) mostly trail rides it. Loves it. Has the same 825 engine as the gator. Only complaint is that wide turning because of length.
I know that doesn't exactly answer your question, but maybe helps a bit.
