yep ,, sumthin aint rite , jd and others can help ,,. all I can do is help you guess , ,, my 4020 starts better if I crank hard on the steering while cranking in cold weather ,,. kinda has to do with pumping oil going thru the empty cycle and filling all the cavities ... your problem is the nature of the beast , you are luky that it behaves itself after start up .. ,gonna need a pressure guage to tell for sure ,1st thought is the steering wheel area ,, but wouldn't be surprised if its in the steering motor itself ,,. we took my 4020 down from the top down to get to the steering motor,,too much grease and grime on a hot day ,, I am told it can . can come out by pulling one of the side rails and leaving fuel tank and all in place ,,..
