As we were digging the potatoes sunday ,any that were cut or had damage get thrown to the side. Yesterday,,I Just couldnt see them lay in the field and go to waste. i Had a basket in my truck,so in about 15 minutes I picked up almost a bushel also found some with no damage I always think of my grandmother when I do something like this,,she never wasted anything from the garden,,,wrapped every green tomato in newspaper,and put them in brown paper bags till they ripend.I drove by the field,and had to pick up those potatoes,she might be watching!
