Are you certain they are not providing 12 volt transistor cutouts or simply an incorrectly rated 6 volt? The magnetic plunger relays are still quite available and not that expensive. The ones I have seen are perfect matches to the original except that, as one might expect nowadays, they can't be rebuilt. An even better option is, if the points have any material left on them, try rebuilding the old one.
