I might have missed it but if you program a new or reprogram the existing key fob or fobs then the one not present (her's) gets erased. If he ever gets that fob back then it can be programmed back to the vehicle. Every time you want to program fobs (new or old), then all fobs need to be present and programmed individually or the ones that are not present get erased.
If it has the keyless entry pad on the door, I hope she doesn't have the factory code, a programmed code can easily be changed as often as you like but the factory code is permanent unless you change the module.
That year of truck did not have PATS or "chip key", so there is no programming there. If she has a key then she can gain entry and start vehicle.
