I've owned this truck since new, has the v10, never any electrical issues before. Came out of work today and had a no start. When you open the door nothing happens except the fuse panel was chattering like crazy. So I pulled the fuse panel off from below the lower left side of the steering column and the number one relay was vibrating along with all the chattering. Manual says it is the interior lamp relay. When I pull the relay out and put the key in the chime goes like it should and then quits after a couple seconds. Could replacing this seemingly unrelated relay solve the issues with the rest of the trucks electrical system? Or could the ignition switch be the issue?
I drive the truck frequently and believe the battery is full, cables look good and tight.
Thanks in advance. I would like to get through this without throwing a lot of parts at it.
