I'd suggest going to Slickdeals.net and search for what you're looking for (desktop, laptop). Lots of deals the next few days. Pay with a credit card, many/most double the warranty up to a year for free on most items. Dell Outlet -sometimes- has deals with a coupon, same as new warranty. Also free antivirus is good enough if you know what you're doing, but a few name brand pay versions are free after rebate. Decent printer deals upcoming too, etc.
