Marv, you are getting rid of two of the best tractors from each maker. Rethink that unless they are worn out.
The skid steer has one more payment. I am going to pick up a new cab chore tractor this weekend. That's going to be my big expenditure. I have been planning for it since summer and it shouldn't be a big hit. I only have a 4020 that has rear singles so I have been raking and square baking without a cab. I'm getting too old for that. This winter I will have a single wheel cab tractor to feed with and summer I will have air but not duals. The 7800 is sure nice with FWA but it has duals so feeding with it is a pain.
I have a 4440 that's been on the farm for about 25 years. It is a great machine. It used to be the planting tractor but now does spraying and fertilizing. It even got grain cart duty this year. I'd be lost without it. It will be a "till I die" tractor.

In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
