I use a Tracfone smart android phone. First one lasted about 6 weeks in my pocket until I bent over the grain tank of the combine when cleaning it out. Sounded like an old fashioned ice cube tray cracking.
Replacement phones are like $20... The replacement one has been good for over a year, though I put it in my shirt pocket now.
Downside to no case, is that it will dial my wife on its own... makes her mad when she gets a call that is just tractor noises.
