Best blade type?

I'm bringing in several loads of fill dirt for gradeing around the house & filling in some low spots on my property. Would I be better off with a box blade or with regular scraper(?) type? Besides the fact that a regular blade can pivot, what would be the advantage/disadvantage of each?
