While on this topic, Have any of you worked on the door pillar switch that controls the interior light? Switch on the driver's side was intermitent and finally quit totally. Found the switch connector inside the body had pulled apart. Wow, what a tight place - no way could I get that connector back together by wiggaling (sp) and pushing. Finally took the switch off the pillar, it threads into the pillar, pulled thw wire through the switch hole and made the connection, then put the switch back in and tightened it up. Fortunately the wires to the switch are long enough that the twist in the wires from tightening the switch back into the pillar didn't cause a problem.
Caused me to wonder how they connected that switch at the factory !!
