Hi my first names Robert, I didn't want to use my last name in my handle. But I collect Fordson Major tractors so used the Major part as well.On some other places I will use Super six,nine,five,four, which is 2 Ford based county tractor model numbers I own. Fordson Major is another, or Farm kid 1974 being one and my birth year. I have to use one or other as somebody else might of had something close already logged in and forums won't take other things I tried on joining is why i have a few that normally work everywhere. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
