Now, let's do the REAL math. The 'ringers' are listed as making $14,000 per year. They usually work from Thanksgiving thru Christmas...30 days-more or less. They work 8 hour shifts with 15 minute breaks after 2 hours and a 30 minute break for lunch. And two days off per week.
Anyway, 40 hours per week X four weeks equals 160 hours of work. (I don't see 'bell ringers out any other time of year so, it must only pertain to this time frame.) Now, $14,000/year divided by 160 hours of work equals $87.50 per hour.
I AM SURE TO GUESS THAT THE RINGER DON'T EARN THAT KIND OF HOURLY RATE. But the numbers really don't add up.
Maybe, someone else can explain the numbers to me.......
