UAFitter So sue me!!!Erskine Caldwell did in fact write the book as he did others ie Gods Little acre. I do have folks that agree with my posts when it comes to my observations on posted matters. Seeing the beer drinking / whiskey bottles. junk cars dirty clothes, becomes apparent to viewers , and I merely made an observation to them facts. Seems the movie Tobacco road leaped to mind.Posted photos become fair game when displayed as those did.I still contend "THERE IS HUMOR IN EVERY FACET OF LIFE". So you see I can't be blamed for making observations to a funny U Tube look alike!!!!When I looked at the film I in fact did LOFLMAO What I seen was another Jeeter Lester look alike. Sister Bessy was not in the film but the turnip tote bag was being dragged around was synonymous to the film. Made me wonder why the dirty cloths was acceptable when a bottle of laundry soap is so inexpensive ,compared to whiskey, and beer. , it's still funny. Personally I wouldn't have the brass to show old time farmers(my acquaintances) sitting around drinking up the subsidies if in fact thats where they got the funds and while letting the old farm rot away.I'm of the old saying, WASTE NOT WANT NOT.Seems like the truth hurts when presented in another light.I still think the film is funny though. So to you I say. LIGHTEN UP. Truly LOU
