Couple books just talk about his life before becoming a vet. Talked about different cow or horse trades he made starting at age 13. Been reading of the cattle chase on the forum. I have only ran into long term chases a couple times in my life. At the 4 or 5th day the local vet said we might as well just shoot on sight as at that point the meat has been infected with the adrenaline for to much time and the meat would be unusable. Does anyone know if that is wrong or not. I would think if they are not being chased continually and are just moving at their pace with occasional chases all should be good.
