I might be the bad guy, but I dodge taxes every opportunity. Why? Because of the unfair way it is handed, and how we are taxed beyond belief at every opportunity. The school systems are (just my opinion) the worst, at least in my area. They try to pass tax/bond issues at elections, and purposely run them during low turnout, then recruit yes votes to get them passed, then if it does not pass, they run it again, and again until some just give up and vote yes. I never vote for a tax of any kind these days. I know in my area, 75% of the real estate taxes are for the local school system, and they cannot seem to build a big enough or nice enough school, and if a neighboring school has a nicer sports facility, watch for others to try to keep up, and guess who foots the bill. Sorry, I got on a rant and a bit off topic, but I do think there will be a fully implemented Internet tax, it is just a matter of time, but until then, I will take advantage of not having one now. Sorry, I would probably not be quite so outspoken on taxes, had I not just paid $2500 in real estate and personal property taxes, and I live on a dirt road that gets graded twice a year at best, and it takes an hour to get any sort of response from a law enforcement agency, and I am not exaggerating. Just a few shining examples of our tax dollars at work. Sorry, no new taxes if I have a vote.
