The power steering on the W6 is driven by a small hydraulic pump on the front of the tractor where you would hand crank the engine. Neighbor told me the unit on the steering wheel with 4 hydraulic hoses is a Charlynn power steering unit. The steering wheel shaft fits inside the unit that is powered by the front hydraulic pump. The hoses off the steering wheel go to a short two way cylinder under the tractor that ties in with the front steering linkage.
