I got Shingles in a long oval on my forehead, left eye & right side of my nose in July,'13 and the skin still feels odd & itches. Upon my MD's recommendation I visited my optometrist who stated I was lucky my vision was not affected. My left eye to this day itches & waters more than my right eye. I felt no real pain just aggravation due to my ongoing nerve damage but I've read where pain of Shingles can be intense
