Back in the early 80's when I was about 20 I got shingles on the left side of my chest along the cress below your breast area. They really didn't have much for treatment back then and of course it was in the summer and I had to go to work, The doctor didn't think I needed time off for this so I was in misery to say the least. Most miserable summer I ever had having to deal with this condition and all I got were some shots of antibodotic and some pain meds witch didn't help much. Seamed to last for a month and it left me with what I can describe as I took a shot gun blast to the left side of my chest that over time looks a lot better than it use to. This is something that is not to be fooled with, I guess being young helped me get over it better but I still know how much it hurt and the scares it left me with as a reminder. Bandit
