I used to work second shift, and she had an early morning job. One night I just about didn't make it home because of an ice storm. When I went to bed I told her not to go anywhere until the county trucks went out to put salt and gravel on the roads. She didn't listen and ended up in a ditch five miles from home. I drove my JD model B all that way, in the dark, to pull her out. Then drive, in the dark, all the way home, in the dark. I was about froze when I got home. I was pretty stiff from the cold ride, and just about fell off the tractor getting off of it. Did I mention that it was pretty dark out too.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
