I took your original entry as a semi-humorous, tongue-in-cheek way of venting over an annoying situation. Your responses which followed - especially when you stated your only peaceful time is when your wife is not around - have made me take you seriously. You have a real problem. Your wife blames you for creating the circumstances, and therefore the outcomes, of her irresponsible actions. And she meets you with defiance when you show her alternatives. Psychologists have a name for this type of behavior. You have three tough choices. You have to tell her she needs counseling - and put up with her reaction until she does. Or divorce her. Or live in your private piece of Hell on Earth.
