FARMALL 1-A

A friend has just aquired a farmall model 1-A and I am trying to help him get some information on thus tractor. It appears to have the original paint which is yellow, and the front end appears to be heavy duty. It does not have a PTO and it has a foot throttle. Otherwise it looks like any other model A. The serial number is 1aa196351. My s/n book contains no info on this model. Can anyone give me any info on this tractor and would it be considered rare?
