My parents and grandparents all had sleds when iwas a kid. My first sled of my own was a 1976? Skiroule 340. Sold it over 20 yrs ago to upgrade to an 85 arctic cat 500. Thought I had died and gone to heaven with that sled. Went to buy a part for it one day in late 90's at local cat store and ended up walking out with a new sled instead. Since then have had quite a few cats and yamahas and even a polaris for the wife. Sold the last of the big sleds last winter after we had our two snowiest winters in 30 yrs and I never even got them off the trailer. I don't miss them a bit! Did keep the kitty kat for the kids though.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
