And Deere had to discontinue their 2500 series plow because the spring reset infringed on IH's spring reset mechanism. I heard it was tied into the corn head suit somehow but I don't know if it is true. I worked intimately with a 843 Deere corn head and the IH clone, the 1083? Both were run side by side on 2388's And they were equally good in quality and capacity.
