Using the test port involves chaining the 3-point down, to force oil through the test port to the cylinders. That's how my Grandpa ran the 1-arm loader on his Jubilee. Not very handy. The diverter valve works similarly, in that the 3-point is inoperable, but it doesn't have to be chained down. The best option, IMHO, is to buy a remote valve, single or double spool, depending on if your loader has a trip or hydraulic bucket. Check the classifieds on this site, Craig's List, or eBay. You should be able to find one without hunting too long. GPM will be whatever the tractor's pump makes.... around 4 -4.5 gpm, if I remember right.
